FIFA has decided to delay the African qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™️ planned for June 2021 due to the recent spikes in COVID-19. The qualifiers will be rescheduled between September, October and November of 2021, and March 2022.

The Indian National Team lands safely in Doha on May 19th 2021 for India's forthcoming matches for FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and AFC Asian Cup China 2023, which is to be played from June 3rd onwards.
